What that means
  • One score, six diagnostics. The site's overall readiness, with each of the six stages scored underneath it.
  • Find the first bottleneck. Know which stage is holding pages back, instead of fixing issues in arbitrary order. Every check asks whether a model can quote the page, not where it ranks in a list of links.

Find out which AI crawlers can actually reach your pages.

Allowing an AI crawler on your homepage does not mean it can reach every important page. Cited checks five AI crawlers path by path, names the restricted routes, and shows where discovery is being blocked.

What that means
  • See the blocked paths. The actual routes each crawler is kept out of, not a single site-wide allowed or blocked verdict.
  • See the actual cause. The robots.txt rule or other restriction behind it. A sitemap returning a 404 shows once as a site-wide finding, not as fifty page failures.
  • Fix the root rule. When many pages share one restriction, Cited names the common rule so you fix it once instead of page by page.

How is this different from a normal SEO audit?

An SEO audit focuses on how a page performs in search results. Site Health focuses on whether your pages can be reached, understood and used as evidence in an AI answer. Those are different checks: whether an answer can be lifted out of the page, whether the claims are attributable, whether the crawlers are allowed in. Page speed and Core Web Vitals are not among them.

Only fifty pages a week? My site is much bigger than that.

Fifty is a real cap. The scan runs weekly, and you can trigger it yourself from the rescan button. A large site gets covered a slice at a time, because each scan moves on to pages the last one did not measure. Every scan opens on what changed since the last one rather than on the standing state. The site-wide checks, robots.txt, the sitemap and llms.txt, apply to everything no matter which fifty pages were sampled.

Does it change anything on my site?

No. Cited only reads. Every fix stays yours to make, and the task it produces names the exact page and the exact change.

What is llms.txt, and do I need one?

It is a short index of the pages you most want AI engines to find, written for them rather than for a search crawler. Cited checks whether you have one at your site root. It is one of the few site-wide changes where a single edit benefits every page at once, and its presence is not a guarantee of AI visibility on its own.
